Ingredients
- Plain Greek yogurt – I used a 5% milk fat variety for an extra creamy texture, but you can use any variety you prefer.
- Nutritional yeast – adds a cheesiness to the dip to replace the tang from buttermilk powder, but you can omit if you don’t have it on hand. If you’re new to this ingredient, it’s used a lot in vegan food for it’s nutty/cheesy flavour and it’s often fortified with Vitamin B12.
- Classic ranch seasonings – dried dill, garlic powder, onion power, and dried parsley.
- Mustard powder – for added depth of flavour.
- Salt – a must for bringing all the flavours together.
- Black pepper – for mild heat.
How to make it
Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and mix until well combined. For the best flavour, cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let the flavours blend.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon nutritional yeast
- ½ teaspoon dried dill
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon dried mustard powder
- ¼ teaspoon dried parsley
- A few turns freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and stir until well combined.
- For the best flavour, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavours to blend. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and eat within 3 days.
